Enkindle: Miscarriage & Infertility Support Ministry

Did you know that there is a hidden group suffering right beside you as you go about your everyday activities? In fact, as many as 1 of every 8 of the couples around you are silently suffering each day as they wrestle with the cross of infertility and up to 1 in 4 women have had a miscarriage. It is our desire that each and every one of these men, women, and couples feel truly seen and supported.

In an effort to accompany these men and women in their suffering, the Office of Natural Family Planning offers the Enkindle Ministry. This ministry offers prayer and other resources for men, women, and couples who bear this cross of loss and infertility. See below for more information on a few of the ways we work to support those suffering from infertility or loss and their families. And as always, if there is something specific you need, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

NaProTECHNOLOGY

Make an appointment with a skilled and experienced NaProTECHNOLOGY doctor. Couples who struggle with infertility or recurrent miscarriages have been successful in achieving and maintaining pregnancies even after artificial reproductive technologies were recommended and were unsuccessful by utilizing this alternative approach. Women who suffer from premenstrual syndrome, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and other reproductive health problems also have been helped. Find a local NaProTECHNOLOGY physician here.

Veritas Fertility and Surgery physicians specialize in treating infertility and recurrent miscarriage from a pro-life and pro-woman approach.

Adoption

Although adoption is not a solution to infertility and brings its own unique challenges and struggles, many couples who suffer from infertility feel called by God to embrace this loving option. Couples wishing to open their homes and families to a child through adoption are invited to contact Good Shepherd Children and Family Services. Visit the agency online or call 314-854-5700.

Archbishop Robert J. Carlson Adoption Grant

Have you been called to adopt but need financial assistance? Applications are due November 1st. Learn more about the Adoption Grant.
